Poetic Spam

I recieved a fantastic email today. Some really interesting poetry:

"small and furry disappeared among the stalks. He looked startled at my tone, put it back on the table and turned I-

Yes. The coded radio built into your jaw can reach the receiver and I jumped about, hands raised in defense. Lowered them and waited as I dropped into a chair while I waited for beneficence to take place
"

The amazing thing is that this was a spam email for Viagra. Who says the spammers aren't artists?

Dreams

I am fascinated by dreams. Often they are so enjoyable that I long to sleep all the time. For the past year, I haven't dreamt. I've been switching medications, trying to find the right one for me and the process has played havoc in a lot ways. I started a new medicine and I think I am starting to dream again. But, thats a story for another day. This is a recount of one dream I had about 6 years ago.

It was my senior year in college. I had some pretty bad heartburn for a couple of months (my notorious eating habits started finally catching up with me). There was a very real feeling of pain in my chest for a while. One afternoon I lay down on the couch to take a nap. It must have been a weekend. I had the most vivid dream that I was laying on that very couch. I started to claw at my heart and rip the flesh away. As I dug down to the heart, I could see my ribs and blood everywhere. I found my heart and pulled it out. At the bottom, was a huge black mass. I pulled it off and threw it across the room.

I woke up drenched in sweat. The couch was literally soaked. After I oriented myself, I realized that the heartburn was gone. I could breath deeply and there was nothing. It was if I reached in and pulled out the pain.

Now, I don't believe an anything supernatural. This was just a dream that stuck with me. Pain is just a sensation interpreted by our brains, and somehow this particular pain stopped.

Anyways, I don't know exactly how to wrap up this story. I'll just say that I hope my dreams come back.
