the new tattoo

so, i really like my new tattoo (not to toot my own horn, but... toot toot). i think it works on multiple levels:

1.) it represents science ( and the pursuit of knowledge through non-supernatural causes).

2.) it represents nature ( its colored to look like a flower).

3.) it specifically represents the element lithium ( 3 electrons, a mood-stabilizing substance, to say the least).

i've got quite a bloggin' streak going now!

i do intend to blog more, but everything i have to say is extremely depressing and/or flat-out bitching. maybe i can start out writing one depressing thing and one happy thing. let's see...

depressing: i think someone stole my XO laptop that I ordered and fed-ex supposedly left at my door. it wasn't there when i got home from work, but the tracking # said they dropped it off. i am thinking about leaving a note at my front door explaining that it was a gift for my seven year old cousin who is dying of leukemia.

happy: i found out that i am getting a really really REALLY nice bonus this year.

i don't even know what to say about this...
