Friday

Another week down. Only 1668 left until retirement! The week started off at a snail's pace after coming back from vacation, but finished up pretty well.

I talked to J tonight for the first time in a while. It sounds like she is doing great; I am so happy for her! A cool thing is that our research is not completely dissimilar and may even have opportunities for collaboration in the future. I'll have to keep my eyes peeled.

back to work

ugh. first day back to work after a week off. i hate that. plus i had to get up at the ass-crack of dawn to move my car because they are tearing up the parking lot. i hope they're putting it back together, but from the looks of it, i wouldn't bet on it.
